Rite Aid partners with St. John of God Hospital Subiaco to support new parents this Breastfeeding Week
Recently, we teamed up with St John of God Hospitals to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week, observed globally from August 1-7. This event is supported by WHO, UNICEF, Health Ministries including the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA). We know that breastfeeding can be a rewarding but challenging experience, especially for new mums. That’s why we’ve partnered with St. John of God Hospital Subiaco to provide special care packs containing Rite Aid's breast care products to new mothers.

Each special care includes includes breastfeeding essentials such as our Hydrogel Breast Discs, designed to soothe and comfort cracked, and sore nipples, along with our Ultra-Comfort Nursing Pads, designed to provide comfort, and prevent leakages. We've also included a flower posy in each pack, a small gesture to remind them that they are not alone and that their well-being is important to us.
We believe that every breastfeeding journey deserves to be supported and celebrated. Through this partnership, we’re here to offer new mothers the tools and encouragement they need. As we continue to honour Breastfeeding Week, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to lovely staff at St. John of God Subiaco & to the new parents who have joined us in this initiative. Together, we can ensure that their journey is one that is cherished and supported every step of the way.
